The service
GuideU is a marketplace that connects travelers with independent local guides. Guides are not employees of GuideU; they create, price, and operate their own experiences. GuideU facilitates discovery, booking, and payment between the parties.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts may be suspended for fraudulent, unsafe, or abusive behavior.
Bookings and payments
Bookings are confirmed when payment succeeds. Payments are processed by Stripe. Cancellation terms are shown on each listing before you book, and refunds follow the listing's cancellation policy.
Guide responsibilities
Guides agree to describe experiences accurately, hold any licenses or permits their activities require, and operate safely and lawfully.
Liability
Experiences are provided by independent guides. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuideU is not liable for the acts or omissions of guides or travelers. Participate at your own discretion and judgment.
