The Cocktail Archives: A Drinking History of Music City (Beta - Not actual listing)
Difficulty: Easy. Suitable for everyone — no fitness or experience needed.
Beta - Not actual listing. Four bars, four eras, four perfect drinks — Prohibition basements to modern listening bars, told through what’s in your glass.
About this experience
Every great bar in this city has a story someone tried to bury. A pharmacy that sold "medicinal" whiskey through the back. A hotel bar where two record labels were founded on cocktail napkins. A basement that hosted illegal card games and, occasionally, Hank Williams. We drink our way through a century: a pre-Prohibition sour made the 1910s way, a smuggler’s-era highball, a studio-era martini, and a modern original from one of the city’s best bar programs. At each stop, the story of the room comes with the drink. Four full cocktails included — pace yourself, water provided, food available at two stops. 21+ with valid ID. This is a walking tour; wear comfortable shoes.
