Learn to Fly Fish: Small Water, Big Lessons (Beta - Not actual listing)
Difficulty: Moderate. Some activity involved — a basic fitness level helps.
Beta - Not actual listing. A patient, private introduction to fly fishing on a quiet mountain creek — casting, reading water, and (probably) your first trout.
About this experience
Fly fishing has a reputation for being complicated. It isn’t — it’s just usually taught badly, on water that’s too big, with too much vocabulary too soon. We fix all three: a creek you can read at a glance, one simple cast, and trout that are famously forgiving of beginners. Morning: casting practice on grass until the motion feels like flicking paint off a brush. Then the creek — learning to spot the soft water where trout hold, drift a dry fly naturally, and set the hook without launching a fish into a tree (it happens to everyone once). All gear included: rod, reel, flies, waders and boots in your size. Fishing license required — I’ll send the 5-minute online purchase link after booking. Catch-and-release, barbless hooks, wild fish handled wet.
