Coffee Roastery Backstage Pass: Bean to Cup Masterclass (Beta - Not actual listing)
Difficulty: Easy. Suitable for everyone β no fitness or experience needed.
Beta - Not actual listing. Behind the scenes at a working roastery β green beans, roast curves, cupping spoons, and more caffeine than is strictly advisable.
About this experience
Seattle runs on coffee, but almost nobody sees where it actually starts. This is two hours inside a working roastery during a production roast β the smell alone is worth the ticket. Youβll handle green coffee from three continents, watch (and hear β the crack is unmistakable) a batch roast in real time, and learn why the same bean tastes wildly different thirty seconds apart. Then we cup like professionals: slurping loudly from spoons across six coffees, scoring them, and arguing about tasting notes. You leave with a bag of the batch roasted during your visit, a palate that ruins gas-station coffee forever, and strong opinions about grind size. Decaf drinkers welcome and gently teased.
