About this experience

Blue hour is the most forgiving, most cinematic light in photography, and it lasts about twenty minutes. This walk is built around catching it from exactly the right rooftop — after warming up your eye on neon signs, wet-street reflections, and long-exposure traffic trails. Bring any camera: a phone in night mode, a mirrorless with a kit lens, your grandfather’s film SLR. I teach composition first, settings second, and gear last. You’ll leave knowing how to meter for mixed light, when to break the rule of thirds, and why the best photo is usually behind you. Two loaner tripods available (first come). Route is about two miles, all sidewalk, rain or shine — honestly, the photos are better in the rain.
